As an account manager at Hamazaki Wong, Mo combines marketing and organizational skills with a strong sense of cultural diversity. Through his work in arts and culture organizations, Mo has developed extensive experience in marketing, sponsorship, event production and promotions, and has also been featured on a variety of mainstream and South Asian media including programs on CBC, Shaw TV, Channel M, RJ1200, 93.1 RedFM, and as far away as BBC Radio One.
Mo believes that individuals are responsible for their environment and is committed to developing communities that are socially sustainable. As founder and Marketing Coordinator of the Vancouver International Bhangra Celebation, Mo has also worked to increase cross-cultural understanding. He is also a Director of Vancouver Celebrates Diwali and chair of the Vaisakhi program of Surrey’s Cultural Capital of Canada designation.
Educated in Business Administration from the University College of the Fraser Valley, Mo Dhaliwal spent the first 10 years of his career working in the technology sector in the area of Internet Marketing and a few years in Silicon Valley where he worked to develop and market linguistics software. Mo is fluent in English and Punjabi.
