Iris Chen is an accomplished marketing and business development specialist and award-winning writer with particular strengths in cross-cultural communications. An Account Manager with Hamazaki Wong Marketing Group, she leads a team to create effective marketing campaigns for clients such as Air Canada and Coast Capital Savings, to name a few.

She has facilitated numerous business development projects through her work at the Vancouver Board of Trade for three years and continues for a few clients till present. She also has board knowledge and experiences in public relations and media relations, and has worked with English and Chinese media organizations including the CBC, the Vancouver Sun, and Fairchild Radio.

With her passion in corporate social responsibility, she believes in getting involved and giving back to the communities. She is a Director of Canada China Business Council, and maintains strong connection to the communities through Leadership Vancouver and explorAsian. She had been involved with Room to Read, the VanDusen Flower and Garden Show, Canadian Women Voter’s Congress, the Canadian Special Events Society, and the Taiwanese Cultural Festival. She was educated in the USA, receiving a M.Sc., and MBA.
